Pumpkin Painting
What you need:
- Pumpkin(s)
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes, sponges, little hands/little feet
1. The first thing I did was wash the pumpkins. To do this I used my personal go to cleaning mixture of: hot water, Dawn, and white vinegar. Using a nylon scrubber I cleaned up the pumpkins and then rinsed them with warm water.
2. Find inspiration and paint the pumpkins.
Tip: I found through some experimentation that by adding a base layer of paint to the pumpkins first, the designs I painted went on much smoother and without as much effort. Although this does add an extra step to the process it is worth it for sure.
Fun for all ages and makes a great gift!!
